DAY ONE — Sunday, October 27, 2024
8 a.m.: Depart Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church, 450 Maxwell Drive, Pittsburgh, Pa
15236.

 

1 p.m.: Guests will enjoy an “all-you-can-eat “ homestyle buffet at the Penn Alps
Restaurant and Craft Shop in Grantsviile , Md. There will be a bountiful selection with
a full salad bar, two soups , several meats and main dishes, delicious side dishes and lots of homemade desserts. Don’t forget to stop in their gift shop filled with local artisan
treasures.

 

4 p.m.: Check into Rocky Gap Casino and Resort, 16701 Lakeview Rd. NE
Flintstone, Maryland 21530. Upon check-in guests will receive $20 slot play and
$25 food gift card to use as you wish (dinner, snack, or breakfast on your own.)
Rocky Gap Casino and Resort is located in Rocky Gap State Park near Cumberland,
MD. This award-winning resort offers a casino, hotel and conference center,
restaurants, a deli, a Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course, an exclusive beach area,
spa, an indoor pool, fitness center, and several outdoor recreational activities. There
will be plenty of amenities for you to explore with your free evening at the resort.
Dinner is on your own this evening.

DAY TWO — Monday, October 28, 2024

9:30 a.m.: Put your bags outside your room for baggage handlers. Breakfast is on your
own this morning.

11 a.m.: Departure to Romney West Virginia.

 

Noon-4 p.m.: The Potomac Eagle Scenic Railroad, Romney, West Virginia. The Trough Canyon Ride boarding begins at 12:30 pm with meal service beginning after departure at 1 p.m. Guests will enjoy outstanding window views and climate-controlled dining cars.
Your Potomac Eagle train excursion will include premium dining including: bread basket, salad, entree with sides, dessert, and non-alcoholic beverage. ***There is a cash bar aboard the train.

countryside to see American Bald Eagles in their canyon home. An excursion highlight
is the iconic view into the Trough Canyon at Sycamore Bridge as you cross the historic
South Branch Potomac River.

5:30-6 p.m.: Hilltop Market, Fruit Bowl and Farmers Market - 12579 National Pike, Grantsville MD. 21536 - Take some time at this comfort stop to use the rest room, shop for some treats, and grab a snack for the ride home.

 

8 p.m.: Approximate return to Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church depending on traffic.
