DAY ONE — Sunday December 15, 2024
6:30 a.m.: Depart Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church 450 Maxwell Drive., Pgh, Pa 15236
9 a.m.: Comfort stop and breakfast on your own at Sideling Hill Travel Plaza on the PA Turnpike. Enjoy a holiday movie marathon along the way. Please bring a snack and a blanket for the bus.
Noon: Comfort stop and lunch on your own- Location TBA
3:30 p.m.: Arrive The Inn At Cape May, 7 Ocean St., Cape May, New Jersey 08204.
Welcome to Cape May, the oldest resort town in the US, dating back to the mid-1800s! It’s time to make yourself at home at The Inn of Cape May celebrating 130 years of hospitality. Nestled close to the beach and local hotspots, The Inn of Cape May is celebrated for its excellent location, quaint atmosphere and inviting front porch with panoramic views. Established in 1894, the Inn was once The Colonial Boarding House. Over time it has been transformed into a modern beachfront destination that has preserved its historic charm.
4-5 p.m.: Enjoy “Happy Hour” daily at the Inn’s bar with savings on cocktails.
5 p.m.: Group dinner: “Taste of Italy “ buffet located in The Inn’s festive banquet room.
6:30 p.m.: Board the bus and depart for The Cape May Stage, 405 Lafayette Street, Cape
May, NJ. **There is a short walk from the Visitor Center Parking Lot to the Theater.
7-8:30 p.m.: “A Norman Rockwell Christmas” concert with Broadway Star and
Granddaughter of Norman Rockwell, Abigail Rockwell at the Cape May Stage. Enjoy jazzy holiday songs and nostalgic storytelling about growing up Rockwell. A very special one-night-only performance!
9 p.m.: Return to The Inn.
DAY TWO — Monday, December 16, 2024
8-9 a.m.: Enjoy a “Healthy Continental“ breakfast buffet in the banquet room of the Inn. Fresh fruit, assorted muffins, multi-grain bread, honey, butter and preserves, assorted yogurts and granola, hot oatmeal, assorted juices, coffee, and tea.
9:30-11 a.m.: Cape May Point - Enjoy a scenic journey with our local step-on guide to the very tip of Cape May’s peninsula one of the most celebrated migratory bird locations in North America. We will visit Cape May State Park and see the fully restored Cape May Lighthouse built in 1859. Then it’s on to Sunset Beach for some history, shopping and an opportunity to search for a precious Cape May Diamonds.
11:30 a.m.-2 p.m. : Free time for lunch and shopping at the Washington Street Mall, a
charming pedestrian-only street lined with locally owned shops and restaurants. The bus will drop guests off at the Visitor Center Parking lot. 40 Washington Street , Cape May, NJ.
2:30-4 p.m.: Emlen Physick Estate and Carroll Gallery Exhibit. Travel back in time
and immerse yourself in the beauty of Victorian Christmas at the 1879 Physick Estate. The house is adorned with Victorian holiday decorations creating a truly festive atmosphere. We will take time to visit the Carroll Gallery at the Physick Estate which becomes a Christmas wonderland complete with model trains and a Dickens Village.
4:15 p.m.: Return to the Inn for Holiday Happy Hour at the Inn’s restaurant bar. Take time to rest and freshen up before dinner.
5:45 p.m.: Depart the Inn At Cape May for The Grand Hotel of Cape May, 1045 Beach Ave Cape May, New Jersey.
6-7:30 p.m.: Dinner at the Grand Hotel will include house salad, chef’s choice of vegetable, potato and dessert, non-alcoholic beverage, taxes and gratuity.

7:45-8:45 p.m.: Holiday LightsTrolley Tour -Enjoy a front-row view of Cape May’s holiday lights and decorations in a heated trolley that winds through town. Local guides tell stories of Christmas past. Dress for the weather as the trolleys are open-air.
9 p.m.: Return to the Inn.
DAY THREE — Tuesday, December 17, 2024
7:30-8:30 a.m.: Enjoy a “Healthy Continental“ breakfast buffet in the banquet room of the Inn. ** Please put your suitcase outside your room for porters to bring them to the bus.
9 a.m.: Depart The Inn of Cape May.
11:30 a.m.: Comfort stop for lunch on your own - Location TBD.
1-3 p.m.: “An Afternoon in Bethlehem“ Arrive at the Bethlehem Visitors Center, 505 Main Street Bethlehem, Pa 18018. There we will meet our local step-on guide who will take us on a journey through the “Christmas City.” On the tour, guests will learn about the recently named UNESCO World Heritage Site Moravian Church settlement located in Historic Bethlehem. We will view the “Trees of Historic Bethlehem” and learn about Moravian Christmas traditions. Guest will also enjoy the “Central Moravian PUTZ” at community tradition of the Moravian Church since 1937.
3-4 p.m.: Free time to explore Main Street shops and visit the Moravian Book Store, the
oldest book store in America .
4 p.m.: Meet in the Hotel lobby for check-in into the Historic Hotel Bethlehem at 437 Main Street Bethlehem, PA 18018. This beautiful hotel is a member of the Historic Hotels of America since 2002 and has ranked #1 four years in a row. Built at the onset of the prohibition era, this stunning hotel has entertained guests for years. Experience world-class service, charming guest accommodations, a beautifully appointed lobby and award-winning cuisine.
4-6 p.m.: Free time to rest, refresh, and explore the hotel and Main St. before dinner.
6-8 p.m.: Buffet group dinner at the Tavern at the Sun Inn, 564 Main Street, Bethlehem, Pa, 18018. This historic tavern is a short walk from our hotel. Please give yourself enough time to walk from the hotel to the Inn for dinner at 6 p.m. Take time after dinner to visit the Sun Inn Museum for a self-guided tour of the original historic Sun Inn built in 1758 by the Moravians. The Inn was very popular during Colonial times and has welcomed numerous distinguished guests including US Presidents Benjamin Franklin, the Marquis de Lafayette and YOU!
8:30 p.m.: Return to Hotel Bethlehem.
DAY FOUR — Wednesday, December 18, 2024
8-9 a.m.: Enjoy a delicious hot breakfast buffet in the Mural Banquet Room.
**Please put your bags outside your door before coming to breakfast.
9:30 a.m.: Depart hotel.
11:30 a.m.-noon: Comfort stop and lunch on your own. Location TBD.
3:30 p.m.: Approximate return to Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church depending on traffic.
PLEASE NOTE: This is a very special tour to historic places. Please be aware that this tour requires moderate walking. To truly experience these destinations, you will need to be able to walk on uneven terrain, climb stairs and experience short periods of standing. Some touring days are longer and include activities in the evening.
